When you visit our website http://recruitmentblacklist.com (the "Website"), and more generally, use any of our services (the "Services", which include the Website), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We take your privacy with the utmost seriousness. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, how we PROTECT it, and what rights you have in relation to it.
1. What Information Do We Collect & Why?
Information You Provide Voluntarily for Scans:
To perform our confidential scans and generate your personalized report, we collect information you provide:
- Contact Information: Full Name, Email Address (for report delivery and communication).
- Professional Details (Optional but Recommended for Accuracy): Phone Number, LinkedIn Profile URL, Current City/Country.
- CV/Resume & Cover Letter Data: If you upload or paste these documents, we process their textual content for analysis as per the service you select.
Purpose: This information is used SOLELY to conduct the checks you requested and to compile your confidential report.
Information for Payment Processing:
For paid services, payment is processed by our secure third-party payment processor, Stripe. We DO NOT collect, store, or have access to your full payment card details. Stripe handles this information according to their strict privacy and security standards.
Information Automatically Collected (Standard Web Analytics):
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit (IP address, browser type, device characteristics, operating system, referring URLs, country, etc.). This data is anonymized where possible and used for website security, operation, and internal analytics (e.g., via Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) to improve our service. This information does NOT reveal your specific personal identity for the purpose of the scans.
2. How We Use (and DON'T Use) Your Information
Your trust is our foundation. We use your information strictly as follows:
- To Generate Your Confidential Report: This is the primary purpose. Your CV, email, and any other details you provide are used as inputs for our analysis engine and expert review.
- To Deliver Your Report & Communicate: We use your email to send your secure report link and any necessary service communications.
- To Process Payments Securely: Via Stripe, as detailed above.
- To Improve Our Services (Aggregated & Anonymized Data): We may use anonymized and aggregated data from scan patterns (NEVER your personal details or report content) to improve the accuracy and scope of our general analysis capabilities and identify broad trends. Your individual data is never singled out.
- To Protect Our Services: For fraud monitoring, preventing abuse, and ensuring the security of our platform.
- To Comply with Legal Obligations: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal process.
What We DON'T Do:
- We DO NOT sell your personal information or report contents to third parties.
- We DO NOT share your specific report with anyone but you (via your secure link).
- We DO NOT use your CV or personal data for any purpose other than generating your requested report and the anonymized improvement processes mentioned above.
3. Data Security: Our Fortress Approach
We implement robust technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. This includes:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted to and from our website.
- Secure, reputable third-party payment processing (Stripe).
- Strict access controls within our systems.
- Regular security audits and updates.
- Data minimization principles – we only collect what's necessary.
However, no electronic transmission or storage can be 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You also play a role in keeping your data secure (e.g., by using strong passwords for your email).
4. Data Retention & DELETION: Your Information, Your Control
This is critical: We believe in minimizing data retention.
- CVs, Cover Letters, and detailed scan input data: These are processed to generate your report. After your report is generated and available to you, this specific input data used for the core analysis is scheduled for **permanent deletion** from our active operational systems within a short timeframe (typically 7-30 days, to allow for any immediate support queries regarding your report generation).
- Your Report: Your generated report remains accessible to you via the secure link provided. You are responsible for saving a copy. We may retain a secure, encrypted backup of the generated report for a limited period (e.g., 90 days) for customer support purposes (e.g., if you lose your link), after which it is also scheduled for deletion.
- Basic Order Information: We retain basic order information (e.g., your email, name, package purchased, date, payment confirmation ID from Stripe – NOT your payment card details) for customer service, accounting, and legal compliance for the period required by law.
- Free Scan Data: CVs uploaded for the free scan are temporarily stored for analysis and then deleted. Email addresses from free scans may be kept for marketing communication if you opt-in (we will make this clear).
You can request earlier deletion of your report or associated data by contacting us, subject to any overriding legal or operational requirements.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Please contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy (if applicable, or briefly state here: e.g., "Our site uses essential cookies for functionality and analytics cookies. You can control cookie preferences via your browser.").
7. Updates to This Notice
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
